Introduction & Rigorous Honesty

This opening session establishes safety, trust, and intention. Participants are invited into courageous self-reflection, naming where they truly are rather than where they think they should be. Healing begins with truth spoken in grace.

Session One: 
Self-Control

This session explores self-control as a fruit of the Spirit, not a product of shame or willpower. Participants learn to recognize internal triggers, emotional patterns, and reactive behaviors while cultivating Spirit-led discipline rooted in love, not fear.

Session Two:  Creating New Pathways & Behaviors

Here we address how the mind forms habits and how renewal creates lasting change. By integrating psychology and Biblical truth, participants learn how to replace destructive patterns with healthy, life-giving behaviors aligned with God’s design.

Session Three:  Healing from Trauma (Pt. 1)

This session gently introduces trauma awareness and its impact on the mind, body, and spirit. Participants begin identifying wounds that influence present behavior while learning how God meets us with compassion, safety, and restoration.

Session Three (Con't):  Healing from Trauma (Pt. 2)

Building on the previous week, this session focuses on processing trauma without re-traumatization. Participants are guided toward freedom from shame, fear, and false beliefs, allowing God to redeem what was once broken.

Session Four:  Reframing the Conscience & Making Amends

This session explores self-control as a fruit of the Spirit, not a product of shame or willpower. Participants learn to recognize internal triggers, emotional patterns, and reactive behaviors while cultivating Spirit-led discipline rooted in love, not fear.

Session Five:  Affirmation & Mission Statement

Here we address how the mind forms habits and how renewal creates lasting change. By integrating psychology and Biblical truth, participants learn how to replace destructive patterns with healthy, life-giving behaviors aligned with God’s design.

Session Six:  Integration & Legacy

This session gently introduces trauma awareness and its impact on the mind, body, and spirit. Participants begin identifying wounds that influence present behavior while learning how God meets us with compassion, safety, and restoration.

Desired Outcome:  Men and women learn to effectively deal with their past, their incorrect thinking about themselves and others, and find wholeness and truth in their own life, their marriage, their family, and their friendships.
 

  • Each session is strictly one hour

  • ​It is either One-on-One with the Coach or with a small group of men or women.  Each session is either in person or on zoom

  • ​At the end of the 8 sessions, participants are invited to make a donation to Sound Mind in support of the program and its mission. There is no set cost for attending, and any contribution is completely voluntary, with no obligation or expectation to give.
